2023: Ibadan agog as APC members embark on march for Tinubu, Folarin, other party candidates

Thursday was an eventful day as the ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital stood still when the party faithful across the state staged a solidarity walk in honour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima as well as all the party candidates.

Tagged ā€˜Youths walk for Asiwaju/Shettimaā€™ in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettimaā€™, the walk, according to the organiser is to sensitize the voters and garner support for the APC candidates ahead of the 2023 elections.

The party members, who trooped out in large numbers, adorned with customized T-shirts, face caps, Ankara and other paraphernalia singing and dancing around the state capital walked from Oke-Ado to Dugbe and other areas within Ibadan and its environs.

While addressing the people, the APC gubernatorial candidate in the state, Senator Teslim Folarin thanked the people of the state for their support over the years.

Folarin, however, urged the people to believe in APC as the campaigns and general elections are fast approaching, stating that the people should believe in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu base on his track records and being a trustworthy Yoruba man.

 

The APC Southwest Vice-chairman, Isaac Kekemeke, Isaac Omodewu; the State APC Chairman, Hon. Akin Alabi, Yunus Akintunde were also in attendance.

 

Others include; Hon. Dapo Lam, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, Idris Ajimobi among others.
