Olalekan Olanrewaju Ola, the organizer of the Oyo State Most Influential Award Series, has restated that the Ibadan Media Limited will continue to be transparent and credible in the selection of the awardees.
He called for support from government, organizations and individuals for not just the award series but entertainment in Oyo State.
The convener stated these while updating journalists about the progress of the 2022 edition of the awards event on Saturday.
“I will like to let you know that, we have 3 voting categories and 2 none voting categories. Voting is ongoing presently for Man, Woman, and Youth of the year, which are the voting categories, and voting will closes on the 10th of January, 2023.
“We have amazing prizes for the winners of these categories. First, one of the best travelling agency in the country as of today, Ufitfly, will be giving the winner all expenses paid trip to Rwanda in Kigali, 5days and 4nights. Also, the winner of the Youth of the especially will be given 300square meter of landed property and ambassadorial endorsement deal by AdBond properties. AdBond will also be presenting tangible gifts to the Man and Woman winners on the day of the event.
“The 2 none voting categories are 100 Most Influential People and Brands, and the honorary category.
“Honorary category is given to veterans, highly valued personalities in the society, and those that supported the event in one way or the other, while the 100 Most Influential category is given base on their influence for the year in view, and this category is selected by the board of jury, there are 10 categories and there are certain number of people we select per category.
