The Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso 1, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria and 2019 APC governorship candidate in Oyo State – Chief Bayo Adelabu; Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello are among prominent personalities to grace the official launching of Ara Foundation in Ibadan.
Ara Foundation, a humanitarian and non governmental organization, was established by Alhaji Ademola Oyepeju, which is aimed at assisting the needy in the society. The founder, Oyepeju is international businessman and chieftain of APC in Oyo State.
Other expected personalities include Chief Oyegade Oyepeju, Alhaji Amadu Zungeru, Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadan, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, (Sunday Igboho), Hon. Muse Ariyo, Pastor Kayode Akinola, Alhaji Taofeek Babatunde, Hon. Abass Aleshinloye, Alhaji Taofeeq , Tao Onibata, Professsor Abideen Olaiya and Rev. Mrs. Olaiya
The official lauching of the foundation which is scheduled to hold December 5 at SCROLAB Hotel Oke-Ado in Ibadan will also feature celebration of the founder’s birthday, presentation of award to some eminent personalities, scholarship for indigent students and empowerment.
