The national president of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) New Era, comrade Abdul- Rasak Arogundade has called on president Muhammadu Buhari to resign as the Nation’s President if he can not safeguard the lives and properties of Nigerians.
The OPC boss stated this during the maiden edition of a remadan lecture put together by the OPC, Oluyole chapter at Jogbin, Olunde Area, Ibadan.
While speaking with Journalists during the event, Arogundade hinted that the level of insecurity in the country is at alarming rate which requires urgent solution.
He further disclosed that the level of kidnaping and killings in various parts of the country is worrisome and that Buhari led administration should urgently address the issue.
Earlier in his sermon, the guest lecturer Alhaji, Quzeem Akilapa called on members of the OPC to discharge their duties with the fear of God stating that they should first work to liberate the state in which the state will in return liberate them later.
“OPC should stand firm and be stabilised if you want to liberate the state. If you operate with the fear of Allah, the state will recognise you for good later.
“If you are steadfast, government will recommend you for other sensitive activities”, he said.
