Ibadan Chiefs, family heads (Mogajis) in Ibadanland, Baales, prominent sons and daughters of the soil as well as the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Chief Dotun Sanusi have felicitated with the Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje on the occasion of her birthday.
They said her positive contributions to markets in Oyo State can not be overemphasized which earned her the position of Iyaloja-General of Oyo State.
A statement by President of Ibadan Mogajis, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, and Coordinator, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiatives, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade stated that the administrative and leadership role of Konibaje in markets across the state is second to none.
According to the statement, the role played by the celebrant towards the development and progress of markets in the state is being well felt, saying her positive impacts on well being of market men and women are well appreciated.
