Prince Kayode Oyetunde Bayewuwon has sympathized with victims of tragic fire outbreak at Aleshinloye market in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
He expressed his sympathy through a message he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday.
While the Ogbomoso born politician promising to do his part for the victims, he appealed to Oyo State Government and relevant stakeholders to swiftly intervene by providing immediate relief and long-term support to the affected traders.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic fire outbreak at Aleshinloye Market, which has caused immense loss to traders and business owners. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone affected by this unfortunate incident. Losing hard-earned investments and means of livelihood in such a devastating manner is a heavy burden. We will do our part to support the victims of the unfortunate fire incident
“I urge the Oyo State Government and relevant agencies to swiftly intervene by providing immediate relief and long-term support to the affected traders. The government must work towards strengthening fire safety measures in our markets to prevent future occurrences. Additionally, I appeal to well-meaning individuals and organizations to extend support to those affected, helping them rebuild their businesses and restore their livelihoods.
“At moments like this, unity and collective action are essential. I pray that God grants strength to all the victims and replenish their losses. My thoughts and prayers remain with the traders and the entire Aleshinloye market community, and God willing, we will provide support to the victims.”
