All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Okunade Okikiade, has extended New Year greetings to the people of Ife South, residents of Osun State and Nigerians at large.
In a statement he personally signed, Okikiade attributed the privilege of witnessing the New Year to the grace of God, noting that survival was not by human effort but by divine mercy.
He expressed appreciation to the people of Ife South for their support and prayers since he declared his intention to represent them in the Osun State House of Assembly, describing them as vital to his ambition.
“As the year 2025 draws to a close, I give all glory and thanks to God, the Almighty.
“I am deeply grateful to everyone who has shared kind words about my efforts to touch lives. Your encouragement is a cherished blessing. I also hold every critique in high regard, viewing it as an essential opportunity for growth”, he said.
According to him, if he emerges as the lawmaker to represent Ife South, his tenure in office will be marked by several achievements, he expressed optimism to do better.
Okikiade assured that 2026 would be a year of defining moments, promising significant infrastructure development, economic growth, sustainable education, environmental improvement and people-oriented initiatives aimed at transforming lives.
He also commended his leader, Senator Iyiola Omisore, for his commitment to restoring hope and dignity in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state.
He called on residents to plan purposefully for the year ahead, with special emphasis on supporting the aspirations of youths, whom he described as the driving force of community development.
