A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and former minister of Sports and Special Duties, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, has payed tributes to former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala who turns 70 years today.
Prof. Adedoja, who served as a Honourable Commissioner for Education under Alao-Akala’s administration, lauded the legacies he left behind in the development of Oyo State particularly in the education sector when primary and secondary education witnessed unprecedented growth and development which placed the state second position in Universal Basic Education in Nigeria. Prof Adedoja prays that Otunba Alao-Akala continues to be blessed by God.
In his birthday tribute, a former aide to Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Engr. Mufutau Open Salawu descended Otunba Christopher Alao-Akala as a pathfinder who rose from obscurity to prominence through dint of hard work and personal commitments.
According to Open Salawu, “Your Excellency has served the nation meritoriously in several tasking capacities. May you continue to provide leadership and mentoring to the incoming generations”.
