Adedoja mourns Adelere, says ‘he was a consistent progressive’

Pa Salawu Adelere who died recently at the age of 90 in Iseyin, has been described by Prof Taoheed Adedoja as a committed member of the progressive camp in the political history of Oyo State state.

Prof Adedoja, a top chieftain of APC in the state recalls thatā€ Pa Adelere played very significant role as a prominent member of the Elders forum during my electioneering across the State as the Action Congress (AC) governorship candidate in Oyo State in year 2007 under the able leadership of late Governor lam Adesina

“Pa adelereā€™s consistency in ensuring the ideals of the progressive camp and as an experienced parliamentarian will forever be remembered by leaders of our party in general and by my political associates in particular.

“Our Party , the All Progressive Congress has painfully lost one of its loyal and committed founding fathers,” he said.

Prof Adedoja commiserate with Pa Adelereā€™s family members, the people of Iseyin and entire members of the progressive political family in Nigeria.

In another development, Prof Taoheed Adedoja, the former minister of sports and special duties also paid glowing tribute to late Chief Samuel Adedokun Farinu , another founding members of APC who served diligently as a chairman of the then Action Congress in Oyo State.

Chief joseph Farinu recently died in Oyo town during a brief illness.
