The National Executive Council (IDU USA NEC) and members of Ibadan Descendants’ Union, United States of America (IDU, USA) have commiserated with the Governor, people of Oyo State and the family on the death of the Ex-Governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who departed from this world on June 25th, 2020.
According to a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the Union, Ade Oyejobi, the National Executives of IDU USA Inc, remarked that Senator Ajimobi would be remembered for his passion for infrastructural development of Oyo State.
“Senator Ajimobi’s family and the people of Oyo State are in our prayerful thoughts at this time. May his soul rest in peace”, said Dr. Olubunmi Afonja, IDU USA National President.
Ibadan Descendants’ Union, USA is an organization of sons and daughters of Ibadan based in the United States.
The mission of the organization, according to the statement, is to work with philanthropists in Ibadan and Oyo State for the development of Ibadanland in particular and Oyo State in general.
