Any police officer that doesn’t want to lose his or her job shouldn’t conspire with land grabbers on my father’s land – Alhaji Muritala warns

Scion of the respected Adekola family, Alhaji Muritala Ifawale Adekola better known as E le Omo Buruku Danu has raised the alarm over activities of high profile land grabbers in Ibadan trying to dispose the family through forceful invasion of their property located at Alatare, Balogun Toriola, Oosajin Ojude’s land in Ologuneru area of Oyo State.

The family warned Police officers not to conspire with the land grabbers, stating that Adekola family is the original owner of the land.

Alhaji Muritala alleged that some high profile Police officers in the state including sacked Oodua People’s Congress members are part of the gang trying to grab the family property as well as claiming other people’s lands in the state.

According to him, “Any Police officer that doesn’t want to lose his or her job should not conspire with land grabbers on my father’s land at Alatare, Balogun Toriola, Oosajin Ojude’s land in Ologuneru area.

“I heard that some people have conspired with some Police officers with some fake photos in which they bought land from scammers in which the matter is in court. Abuja, Osogbo, Apata Area Commandant and AKS are aware about the issue.

”The matter is still in court and I learnt that they want to encroach on the land by force. It is my family property and it is a very large land. Some parts of the land had been sold out before we got to know.
“Unfortunately, I just discovered that the land grabbers and some set of OPC who were sacked by Iba Gani Adams have regrouped to forcefully take my father’s land. Any police officer that work with them is on his or her own. Are they insinuating that the IGP that intervened before now are not capable? I am a peaceful and law abiding citizen of Nigeria.

“I employ the victims that bought the land from the scammers to wait for the court judgment. We have all the documents to show that we are the genuine owner of the sold out lands.

“Infact, I heard that they presented a dead person’s photo in Abuja, Osogbo, AKS and Eleyele. They were made to know that they are mere land grabbers.

“I am appealing to the appropriate quarters to intervene”.

Muri Omi as he is also fondly called said the Adekola family are in possession of all valid documents concerning the property, cautioning trespassers “to be warned of the legal implications of their criminal project”.
