The Deputy Director General, Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Aborode, has said the country presently need a leader like the former Vice President to save it from what he described as the road to Kigali.

Aborode said this when he led other members of the group on a courtesy visit to the management of Noble FM, Ibadan.

Other members on the entourage include Chief Segun Oyewole; Hon. Taiwo Ige; Messrs Ademola Adeeyo, Biodun Michael and Stephen Olaniyi.

He lamented that the country is under siege with Nigerians apprehensive of its future, stating that as an experienced politician who knows the political chemistry of the country the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is best suited to turn things around positively for the elected if elected.

He said, “It would not be out of place to say that the country is in a major crisis today with Nigerians afraid of what would become of their beloved nation, no thanks to insecurity in every part of the country and collapsed economy. It is our conviction that Alhaji Abubakar given his experience is the leader that Nigeria needs at this time.”

The former Commissioner for Environment solicited for the support of the radio station in promoting the image of the Waziri of Adamawa, noting that the group is more than prepared to market him to the people of the state.

The General Manager of the station, Prince Ade Adekanmbi, who received the team, said members of the group are welcomed any time, assuring that the station is ready to support them to promote their principal.
