Avoid violence before, during, after elections – Adepoju appeals to electorates

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North Federal Constituency in Oyo state, Dr. Adebayo Adepoju better known as Ibarapa Kan has appealed to the electorates, especially the residents of his zone to be calm and give room for peace before, during and after the elections.

 

He noted that the region is known for peace.

 

Ibarapa kan made the plead on Wednesday while addressing the newsmen at Heritage resorts in Igbo-Ora.

While commending the love and unflinching support of the constituents, he promised to deliver the dividends of democracy if elected.

The frontline candidate further stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has put in place smart measures to make the election free, fair and credible saying the electorates should play their role by avoiding violence.

 

Earlier in his remarks, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the governor of the state, Hon. Ademola Ojo charged the people of the zone to come out en mass to cast their votes for Adepoju and all PDP candidates.

 

Ojo added that Ibarapa Kan is the only candidate that can restore the lost glory of the region.
