Fifty-seven years after Dick Tiger defeated Gene Fullmer by a seventh-round knock out to retain his WBC World Middleweight Title at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, in 1963; history is about to repeat itself again as Ibadan-born Oyekola Ridwan popularly known as SCORPION is set to lock horns with Argentine boxer, Lucas Matias Montesino for World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Super Featherweight title bout.
The Ibadan-born boxer will share ring with the Argentine on Sunday 27th December 2020 at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan – Oyo State.
The two contenders for the vacant WBF Super Featherweight belt were unveiled at a press conference on Tuesday.
