Oyo State has recorded 15 fresh cases of COVID-19 to take the state’s confirmed cases to 317. Despite the spike, the state drops to 6th position on the national coronavirus log.
The new active cases were revealed in the routine update of information released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Tuesday. The Pacesetter News understands that the iSON Xperiences, which is the epicenter of the novel coronavirus in Oyo State has lion share of the fresh cases.
Also, the agency also said 241 cases of the deadly virus were recorded on Sunday May 31, 2020, in the FCT and thirteen states of the country. The total number of confirmed cases is 10819. Total Discharged cases stands at 3239 while 314 Deaths cases have been recorded so far.
