The Political Head and Administrator of Oyo SouthWest LCDA Akeetan, Oyo, Alhaji Nureni Alade has rejoiced with all the Muslim faithful in the Local Council Development Area, political bigwigs, career officers as well as Oyo State people in general on the occasion of the year 2023 Eid-el-Kabir (Ileya) festival.
Alhaji Alade Nureni , in his yuletide message enjoined Muslims to celebrate with modesty and caution,
urging them to put into practice the main message behind the reason for the season, which comprises sacrifice, love, long-suffering, faith and peace.
“I want to use this medium to implore our people, both Muslims and non Muslims to please imbibe the culture of sacrifice, long-suffering, faith- among other lessons we can learn from Prophet Ibrahim, who despite the precarious situation surrounding him expressed an unshakable faith in God by obeying the instruction of Allah to sacrifice his son, and he was never let down,” Alhaji Alade posited.
He then assured all Nigerians to equally keep faith in the present federal government, under the able leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing the optimism that our great nation would soon surmount all the challenges before her. He thereafter prayed that under His Excelency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, Oyo State will wear a better look , transcending beyond the achievements recorded under Omituntun 1.0, thus requesting for a full cooperation from all the good people of the State.
“As you all trooped out enmass to elect our Governor for the new Omituntun 2.0 era, all hands should equally be on deck for its huge success by sustaining the tempo of love and zeal. His Excellency can’t do it alone, neither can any chairman nor political head equally do it alone. By the special grace of God, we will live to reap the fruits of Omituntun 2.0 together and also celebrate more of Eid El Kabir on the face of the earth,”.the political head/administrator prayed.
