The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala (JP), congratulated Muslim faithfuls in Ogbomoso zone and Oyo State for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.
Alao-Akala junior in his Eid-l-Fitr message urged Muslims to hold on to the teachings and lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He advised Muslim to remain steadfast with the piety of Allah and be more dedicated to the virtues of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Akala said: “It’s understandable that this year’s Eid-l-Fitr is expected to be very different with social distancing during this COVID-19 pandemic, but we can all share in the spirit as we connect more virtually and take the time to reflect.”
“Let us show love and generous because we are passing through a period that we have never experienced before in our land. With God, everything is going to be fine again. We need love, peace and justice in our nation now more than ever before”.
Alao-Akala reflected his hope that the next Eid-l-Fitr will be celebrated joyfully without threat of the pandemic for it is fully beaten. He therefore kprayed to God Almighty to accept all acts performed during the month of Ramadan as acts of Ibadah and reward all faithful Muslims in multiple folds.
