Jubilation galore among the youths of Ibadan North federal constituency area of Oyo State as some of their graduates have been offered federal government jobs in Abuja.

The appointments facilitated by the lawmaker representing the area, Hon. Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi was seen by many youths in the area as unprecedented and laudable feat by the lawmaker.

Akinremi popularly called Jagaban by his supporters for his legendary philanthropic gestures before he assumed office as a lawmaker, has urged other graduates to update their Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and drop same at his constituency office in Yemetu, Ibadan.

According to him, “I wish to call on the youths that have certificates in Ibadan North, not to call me for rice during Christmas, they should rather visit my office at Yemetu ibadan and drop their CV.

“By the grace of God, I will get them jobs so that they can buy rice for themselves,” Akinremi made these remarks while addressing the beneficiaries of the federal appointments in Abuja.

According to Gafar Afeez Friday one of the beneficiaries from ward 8 area of Ibadan North, the above statement was what Hon. Akinremi told us when he was addressing us in his office in Abuja.

According to Gafar, “I don’t think this opportunity Akinremi is bringing to the grassroot has ever existed in the history of ibadan north, especially from a first timer in the green chamber.

“This man lodged us in an expensive hotel in Abuja and fed us for days we spent there.

“After we finished all necessary things in Abuja, he also gave us huge money that is enough to take flight if we decided not to go by the road.

“Sincerely, all Akinremi is doing is just nothing but a miracle in real sense of governance,” Gafar said.

He then prayed that “may God always be with him and guide him right in the hand of his political foes who are praying for his downfall.

“I am happy Ibadan North have him as our Rep and I am grateful God used him for me and others,” Gafar concluded.

Akinremi Jagaban as part of his first 100 days in office, got another 22 unemployed graduates listed and called up for interviews at Lekan Salami  Ibadan in which all of them have been shortlisted to resume work in various departments.

“Akinremi also sent 30 of his constituents with O’level qualifications to Liberty Stadium for supermarket employment interviews in which Sixteen (16) of them are successful and another 50 who have OND and O level that can speak Hausa fluently havs been lined up into various employment opportunities.

“Based on Jagaban’s magnanimity, he has agreed to take the employment scheme beyond his Constituency – Ibadan North, as we are all know that Hon. Akinremi Jagaban is the only APC – Rep in Oyo South Senatorial district of Oyo State.

‘These will serve as a means of ameliorating the endemic unemployment ravaging our dear Oyo State.

Akinremi had also set another target for himself to enrol additional 50 unemployed graduates into work force in the next 100 days*.

“Therefore, let’s all be on the look out for Jagaban’s extension of employment opportunities to other Local Governments in Oyo South Senatorial District and the State at large. What a better representation!,” a constituent added.
