Katsina Governor Cries Out, says 333 Students are Missing

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Aminu Masari has officially announced that 333 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara,are still missing.

The Governor made this disclosure on Sunday while receiving a federal government delegation led by national security adviser, Babagana Monguno.

This newspaper reported that gunmen invaded Kankara town on Friday night to abduct the students.

Nigeria Police confirmed that the school has about 800 students in population. Katsina Police Public Relations Officer, Isah Gambo, while confirming the rescue of 200 students, said some students scaled the school fence during the attack.
