A Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Enablers Diaspora Grassroots Support Outreach, held an empowerment for humanity outreach in Ibadan, with aims to inspire and empower the underprivileged people in the community through medical checkups and resources sharing.

Convener, Mrs. Ayoyinka Wilson said the initiative aimed at bridging the gap between the less privileged and grassroots communities.

“We want to put smiles on the faces of those in need, alleviating their suffering and promoting overall health and well-being.”

Wilson expressed deep satisfaction with the overwhelming response from the community.

“We want to ensure that people no longer go to bed hungry and wake up in hunger. The turnout today has been exceptional, with a massive response. This medical outreach has been ongoing for five days, and as you can see, we are distributing essential medications to people who have come from various localities.

“To round up the five days medical outreach, we are not only giving food but providing comprehensive health care examinations, anti hypertensive treatment that will last for three months, and quality tablets that will last for months too.”

Baale Venerable Olatinwo Fatoki, Olugbode II, the Onikusela of Kusela Land, commended the NGO for the medical outreach in the community, noting that the government cannot tackle these challenges single-handedly.

The NGO distributed food items, free medical check-up, and other essentials materials for human need during the outreach.
