NUJ condoles Oyo NAWOJ Chairperson over hubby’s demise

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council on Wednesday condoled the Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Mrs. Jadesola Ajibola over the death of her husband, Mr. Dotun Ajibola.

 

Ajibola died on Tuesday during a brief illness at the age of 49years.

 

His remains was laid to rest in the early hours of Wednesday in his home town.

 

A statement by the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola described the death of Mr. Ajibola as very shocking, most unfortunate and heartbreaking for the wife, family, friends and all journalists in the State.

 

Babalola admonished the distraught Jadesola Ajibola, to take heart and be strong at a time like this.

 

According to Babalola, ‘the death of Mr. Ajibola is very shocking, most unfortunate and heartbreaking. He was a young man whose death would create a serious void in his young family.

 

‘As mortals, we know we would all taste death at our appointed time, but this one is devastating and one too many for Jadesola, the children and the family he left behind.

 

‘Our Chairperson, please take heart and be strong at a time like this. Only God can console you and you must understand that these children need you more than ever before.

 

‘I pray to God to grant you the grace to carry on as you continue to strive for the best for these children,’ Babalola prayed.
