Ondo 2020: INEC begins distribution of sensitive materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has commenced the distribution of sensitive materials for Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.

The materials which include ballot papers and result sheets were distributed at the Akure office of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, where they have been kept since Monday after they arrived at the state from Abuja.

The exercise was supervised by the national commissioner in charge of Ondo, Edo, and Lagos, Dr. Adekunle Ogunmola, and the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Rufus Akeju.

Present at the CBN office to witness the exercise are Representatives of political parties, civil society organizations, observers and security agencies.
