The governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Oyo State, Adeshina Adewale over the weekend said his party is not in alliance with any political party in the state to dislodge governor Seyi Makinde’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in the state.

He stated that those behind the alliance are not doing it for the progress of the state but only concern with their personal interest.

There are insinuations that opposition parties in the state are considering forming alliance with All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to dislodge governor Seyi Makinde.

Speaking in Ibadan, the APGA gubernatorial candidate maintained that in as much as Makinde is doing well, he deserves second term so as to finish the good work has has started.

He said APGA will never join any party to form alliance against the will of the good people of the state.

He said, “For the fact that APC won the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Oyo State does not mean that political parties should gather against governor Seyi Makinde, dislodging governor Makinde will affect the good work he has started in the last few years of his administration.

“We all know what APC stand for both at state level and National level, we know what people passed through during their administration, Makinde has done well, he has done great things, we are calling for another problem by chasing him away, I will never join them to vote cartels.

“Civil servant, pensioners, market men and women, artisans and traders should think ahead, voting APC is puting ourselves into another trouble for the next four years.

The APGA governorship candidate however urged people in the state to come out en mass on March 11 and vote for Makinde.
