Oyo Covid-19 Cases Hit 1,055 as State Maintains Top Four

Oyo State recorded 67 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 1,055. Despite the spike, the state maintains 4th position on the national COVID-19 log.

The new active cases were revealed in the routine update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Tuesday.

The Pacesetter News understands that No. of Cases on admission in Oyo COVID-19 facilities are 755; Number of Discharged patients are 291 and Number of Deaths recorded stands at 9.

On the 22nd of June 2020, 452 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigerian. Having carried out 117,569 tests, 21,371  cases have been confirmed, 7,338 cases have been discharged and 533 deaths have been recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 452 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos-209, Oyo-67, Delta-37, Ogun-36, FCT-22, Abia-20, Enugu-16, Bauchi-15, Kaduna-8, Ondo-8, Osun-7, Imo-3, Benue-3, Borno-1
