Oyo State on Sunday recorded 12 new cases of coronavirus to take the state’s confirmed cases to 292. Despite the spike, the state maintains its 5th position on the log.
The new active cases were revealed in the routine update of information released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Sunday. The Pacesetter News understands that the iSON Xperiences, which is the epicenter of the novel coronavirus in Oyo State has lion share of the fresh cases.
Also, the agency also said 307 cases of the deadly virus were recorded on Sunday May 31, 2020, in the FCT and fourteen states of the country. The total number of confirmed cases is 10162. Total Discharged cases stands at 3007 while 287 Deaths cases have been recorded so far.
