Hon. Adedeji Dikrullahi Olajide (Odidiomo), federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North-West/South-West, has called on the people of Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Local Government Areas to come out en masse and vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman and councillorship candidates in the forthcoming Local Government election.

Speaking at the PDP’s final campaign rally across the two local governments within the federal constituency, Odidiomo urged the people to replicate the success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in the state by voting for the PDP candidates.

“Governor Makinde’s performance in the last five years has been a precursor to what we can achieve at the local government level.

He has demonstrated his commitment to good governance, and we must replicate this success by voting for our PDP candidates,” Odidiomo said.

The federal lawmaker praised the PDP chairmanship and councillorship candidates across the state for their dedication and hard work, saying they have the capacity to deliver on the party’s manifesto.

“Our candidates are men and women of integrity, and they have the passion to serve our people.

Let us come out and vote for them, and I assure you that they will not disappoint us,” he said.

Odidiomo also commended the people of Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West local government for their support for the PDP, saying it is a demonstration of their confidence in the party’s ability to deliver good governance.

“Continue to support our party, and I assure you that we will not disappoint you.

“Let us come out and vote for our PDP candidates, and let us replicate the success of Governor Makinde’s administration at the local government level.

“The PDP chairman and councillorship candidates in Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Local Government Areas have been campaigning vigorously, and the party’s leadership has expressed confidence in their ability to emerge victorious in the election.

“With the PDP’s campaign efforts gaining momentum, the party is confident of winning the local government election, which is scheduled for Saturday, across all 33 local government areas of the state,” he concluded.
