The Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Oyo State Council has felicitated with a renowned philanthropist and businessman, Dr Olusola Ayandele as he clocked 60 on Saturday, January 23.
The NUJ in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola and Secretary, Comrade Olusola Oladapo, congratulated Ayandele.
The NUJ described Ayandele as a great philanthropist, respected community leader, astute administrator and a staunch supporter of the union.
It said that the Ibarapa-born business mogul and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain was a rare gem, whose contribution to societal development is worthy of emulation.
“Your commitment and selfless service to humanity has brought tremendous development to Ibarapaland, Oyo State as well as Nigeria.
“Your courage, character, wisdom, strength and simplicity stands you out always. May the Almighty fill your future with blessings, “the NUJ said.
The union appreciated Ayandele for his doggedness, forthrightness and truthfulness, describing him as a quintessential leader.
It appreciated Ayandele’s support for the union at all times, praying that Almighty God strengthen him to do more for humanity.
