The Oyo State Government has revealed that it has re-awarded the Saki township road to a new contractor from the previous handler in order to facilitate quick completion at a shortest possible time.
While addressing governor’s office correspondents briefly after its executive council meeting on Tuesday, the Honourable commissioner for Education, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye, explained that the project under the new contractor is expected to be completed within a year.
Barr. Olaleye, said that the contract which was initially issued out by the past administration at the cost of N8billion (eight billion naira) has now been re-awarded by the Makinde led government at the cost of N4.8billion (four billion seven hundred and ninety six million naira).
