PUC postponed by a week due to death of LOC’s member

The organizers of the Peller Unity Cup (PUC) Season II has announced the postponement of the tournament by a week due to the death of a member of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Comrade Kolawole Bello, whose life was terminated due a fatal motor accident on Saturday 5th February 2022.

The PUC Season II, which was initially scheduled to start this week with a press conference in Okeho, Kajola local government area, has now been fixed for 12th February 2022.

Notable media houses such as Channels TV, Arise TV, TVC, AIT, NTA Oke Ogun FM, Fresh FM, Punch, the Nation and others will be on ground for the press conference.

Twenty teams drawn from the 10 local governments in the Oke Ogun region will be participating in the tournament.

The PUC is a youth empowerment/development initiative with a mission to promote unity and development across all the local government in Oke Ogun and by extension Oyo State.
