Within six months of its grand opening, foremost multi-billion naira hospitality haven, “The Jagz Ibadan”, is presently hosting the Nigerian Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Some of the Governors that arrived on Sunday were Bauchi state governor; Enugu state governor;
Zamfara state governor; Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor; Bayelsa Deputy Governor; the PDP National Chairman; a PDP State Chairman and host of other party leaders from across the federation.
The Governors alongside other organs of the PDP National Executive Council and other party’s stakeholders arrived “The Jagz Ibadan” for their relaxation and settling in, after their all-important meeting at the government house.
The host Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde who commissioned the hotel in October 1st, 2024 had expressed the State Government’s commitment to ensure that the multi-billion naira investment described by industry stakeholders as “The best hospitality haven in the State”, succeed in its obligations to revolutionize the hospitality sector of the state’s economy.
The luxurious hotel, located in Iyaganku, Ibadan, marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s hospitality industry.
It’s State-of-the-Art Facilities like Conference facilities, meeting rooms, intimate party spaces, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gym and free Wi-Fi are complementing the meeting of the society’s top officials.

In one of his posts in his verified social media handle, the Governor, Seyi Makinde said “we hosted a banquet in honour of governors of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party who are in Ibadan for the PDP Governors’ Forum Meeting.
“In my remarks I thanked my brothers who attended the event despite the reduced access to Ibadan due to the ongoing airport upgrade.
“The PDP Governors’ Forum Meeting is necessary at this time to deliberate on the way forward for the PDP as we reposition the party as the best option for Nigerians in 2027,” he said.
