SET IN POST CIVIL-WAR NIGERIA, the month is July, and the year is 1975. The nation under the military administration had begun heating up as disloyalty and rebellion grew and fears heightened. Law and order amongst the masses became disintegrated, and human rights were met with brute force. Suddenly, a bomb blast rocked a Lagos bank, a targeted attempt on the life of the young military administrator of Lagos state; Babakunle Ifaloye. However, he manages to escape, but five days later is killed in his villa surrounded by his own people. By his head was left an unknown symbol; A red card with a black seal of an image of a python. A large investigation was carried out and the case was declared a suicide! Years later, a private investigator comes across the case and is intrigued by it, and reopens it unofficially. The story is retraced, and what he discovers begins a dog and cat chase.
