Time to stamp out corruption is now – NOA WAI Brigade commander

“Corruption is like a flesh would, left to fester , it will blight other part of the body system, we must frontally figt corruption to a standstill before it fights us back.”

The above epigraph highlights the mood of the head of WAI Brigade, NOA command as they partnered with other anti corruption agencies in a walk this morning to mark the International anti corruption day.

It bears emphasis that Saturday 9th December of every year is a day set aside by the United Nations as International Anti corruption day, when efforts must be coalesced worldwide to rid the globe of the menace of corruption.

NOA WAI Brigade commander, Comrade Moshood Waheed who led his command to join allied groups today, bemoaned the rate at which Corruption is fast spreading especially amongst the third world Countries, therfore, asked for a unified commitment to wipe it out.

In a release sent by the Media unit of the Agency signed by Isiaka Adeniyi and made available to the press in Ibadan this morning, Oyo NOA in a solidarity walk to commemorate International Anti Corruption Day is part of the Agency’s sensitisation on moral uppity to the citizens not to engage in corrupt acts inimical to the progress of the Nation.

Other groups together with NOA WAI Brigade officials in the exercise according to the release include; Royal Ambassador, Peace Corp, National Youth Service Corps etc.
