The immediate past Surveyor General of Oyo State, Surveyor Alaba Abiodun has charged Civil Servants across the State to serve God in their various positions in the service.
He stated this during a retirement thanksgiving service held at Fountain of Peace Baptist Church, Isokun, Oyo.
He enjoined all Civil Servants in the State to support the present administration in the State led by Engineer Seyi Makinde, describing him as a kindhearted Governor.
He also urged all the practicing Surveyors in the State to cooperate with the Office of the Surveyor General of Oyo State in discharging their professional duties as he is bowing out of the State Civil Service.
The outgoing Surveyor General described the present Head of Service in the State, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, as a vibrant leader, intelligent woman that always provides solutions to every problem.
He appreciated the forum of Permanent Secretaries for their unalloyed support when he was in the service as the Surveyor General.
In his sermon, Reverend, Dr. John Akin Oyelade of Fountain of Peace Baptist Church, Oyo admonished the outgoing Surveyor General to keep learning and pay more attention on his health by doing exercise regularly.
