Walking with God is panacea to current hardship – Bishop Aladekugbe tells Nigerians

The Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe has called on Nigerians to walk with God as a panacea to the present hardship.

The call was contained in the press release issued by the Diocesan Communicator of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, during the Diocesan Board Meeting held at the Conference Hall, Diocesan Headquarters, Moyede, Ibadan recently.

According to the Bishop, God is in full control of Nigeria’s situations and ready to answer our prayers if we are ready to play our own part by being economically productive, serve God with holiness and purity of heart, be selfless, incorruptible, make simplicity our watchword and above all,be disciplined in all our ways.

The clergy further admonished us to abstain from giving excuses when we go astray, but instead,obey His commandments as done by Moses, Jeremiah, Ananias, Enoch among others and their needs were met comprehensively.

 

He appealed to Nigerians especially the Christians to be our brothers and sisters keepers and come to aid of the needy in the society to reduce the untimely death occurring on daily basis as a result of poverty and insecurity.

He used the occasion to commiserate with the people of Ibadan and Oyo State in general on the death of Late Olubadan of IbadanLand,His imperial majesty,Oba Olalekan Balogun, and also siezed the opportunity to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland Designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
