The Acting Provost, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, Dr. Nelson Aderemi Oyewo has on behalf of the Governing Council and Management of the institution felicitated the State First Lady, Engr. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde on her golden jubilee birthday celebration.
In a statement by the Special Assistant to the Provost on Media Matters, ‘Wale Adeoye, quoted the College’s Acting Provost saying, “Your Excellency Ma, as a College, we celebrate you on the auspicious occasion of your 50th birthday and appreciate your support for our amiable Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE. It is glaring that your unparalleled support has gone a long way in consolidating the repositioning and rebuilding efforts of His Excellency on the Pace-Setting State. On behalf of the Chairman Governing Council, Prof. Matthew Odedokun, distinguished Council members, College Management, Staff and Students of our great College, I wish Your Excellency a prosperous 50th birthday celebration.”
The Acting Chief Executive described the first lady as a phenomenal woman of God who cares and caters for numerous activities for the upliftment and growth of women and children in the State.
While thanking God for her life, the Ogbomoso-born administrator prayed for more blessings, peace and prosperity in sound health as well as enlargement of coast with avalanche of divine grace for the Governor’s wife.
