Federal Government delegation led by National Security Adviser, Retired Major-General Babagana Monguno, on Sunday, landed in Katsina to commiserate with the state government and people of the state over Kankara attack, abduction by yet to be identified bandits.
The Kankaran abductions are the latest high-profile incident involving students in Nigeria. Recall in 2018, Boko Haram territorists kidnapped more than 100 girls in Dapchi town. Fast forward to 2014, the same group abducted more than 270 girls in the town of Chibok.
President Muhammadu Buhari is presently in Daura on a week-long state visit.
