A Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Oyo South in Oyo State ahead of the 2023 general elections, Chief Sharafadeen Alli on Sunday described a former Governor Rashidi Ladoja as a rallying figure, great influencer and stabilising factor for Ibadan and Oyo State in general.
Alli in a congratulatory message he personally signed to felicitate Ladoja who clocked 78years on Sunday, also pledged to continue to make the Celebrant and the people of Oyo South proud as the electioneering for the next election gathers momentum.
Alli’s statement reads in parts: “All hail His Excellency, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, FNSE as he clocks 78years today, Sunday, September 25th, 2022.
“I join the good people of Oyo South, Oyo State and well meaning Nigerians to congratulate my father and an elderstatesman, His Excellency, Oloye Agba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Akanmu LADOJA.
“Your selflessness and uprightness have meant so much to our great city; its customs and traditions.
“Thank you for being a worthy rallying figure, great influencer and outstanding stabiliser for Ibadanland as you also impacts positively on our dear State and Nigerian nation.
