Another Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and former Majority Leader of House of Representatives, Honourable Mulikat Adeola has rejected the Ramadan Package sent to her by Governor Seyi Makinde.
This is coming barely few days after the purported rejection from a foremost leader of the party in the state, Alhaji Rasheed Olopoeyan.
Pacesetter news gathered that the rejection by the former federal lawmaker could be linked to the yet-to-be-settled rift between the Governor and some party stalwarts in the state.
According to one of the Personal Assistants to the former Majority Leader, he said, “Alhaja rejected the 20bags of rice and the cow because of the rift between her and the governor.
“He distributed the chairmanship slots, he didn’t give us, councillorship slots were also not given to us. Why should we take the Ramadan gifts?”
It should be recalled Alhaji Olopoeyan, Hon. Mulikat and host of others belong to the South West Group of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
