All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Olayinka Faniyi, has described the wife of former Oyo State governor, Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, as a rare breed with a heart of gold for humanitarian work for the people of the state.
She made the commendation on Friday, in celebration of her birthday, noting that Mrs. Ajimobi gave practical meaning to the word “helpmeet” and a true mother of the state.
Faniyi, the CEO of YinfannyMedspa and Theyinfannyfoundation, in a statement she personally signed, said her birthday is an opportunity to call on women to actively participate in their husband’s success as Mrs. Ajimobi has done.
She said that the contributions of Mrs. Ajimobi to the political landscape of Oyo and Nigeria as a whole cannot be overemphasized.
“I celebrate Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Florence Ajimobi for being an example of what a life partner should be. Besides that she stood by her husband, she has made her mark as a philanthropist a model for others.
“She is also celebrated for her campaign for the well-being of women, girls, children and other vulnerable persons.
