Ondo 2020: APC Candidate Akeredolu Leads in 12LGAs as Jegede, Agboola dominate strongholds

The Ondo State Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the October 10 governorship elections, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu is leading his arch-rivals in 12 local Government areas of the state, according to the official results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Akeredolu is officially leading his opponents with over 84,011 votes in the following 12 local government areas: Ile Oluji, Akoko North-East, Akoko South-West, Akoko South-East, Akoko North-West, Irele, Ose, Ifedore, Owo, Okitipupa, Akure North-West, and Idanre.
According to the INEC results uploaded on its website, Governor Akeredolu polled 189,489 votes in 12 LGAs while Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party and Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party dominated in their strongholds.
