Oyo Drops to 6th on COVID-19 Log as Total Cases Hit 302

Oyo State on Monday recorded 10 fresh cases of coronavirus to take the state’s confirmed cases to 302. Despite the spike, the state drops to 6th position on the national COVID-19 log.

The new active cases were revealed in the routine update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Monday. The Pacesetter Newsunderstands that the iSON Xperiences, which is the epicenter of the novel coronavirus in Oyo State has lion share of the fresh cases.

Also, the agency also said 416 cases of the deadly virus were recorded on Monday June 1, 2020, in the FCT and eighteen states of the country. The total number of confirmed cases is 10578. Total Discharged cases stands at 3122 while 299 deaths cases have been recorded so far.
