It is an uncommon grace when one attains the age of nonegenarian in sound health, wealth, witnessing the greater life achievement of children, grandchildren and their offsprings.
This is the story of Chief Mrs. Abigael Kikelomo Ojuolape Egbewole as family, friends, and other well-wishers converged on the ancient Ile-Ife to celebrate the 95th birthday of the Matriarch of Lukosi Compound Ilode Quarters, Ile-Ife.
95 years of eventful and meaningful journey on earth is a rare grace in the glory of the Lord.
This was why Mama Egbewole kick-started the celebration with songs of praise in the Lord’s abode, at the Christ Apostolic Church Ebute Yiyanju, where Prophet Sam Adeola preached on the importance of remembering heavenly kingdom, while we mark our birthdays.
It was a look at the celebrant’s vaunted antecedents,as people of different backgrounds reeled out commendable testimonies about her.
Thereafter was an exquisite reception, where dignitaries from different walks of life, including PDP bigwigs in Ife-Ijesa Senatorial District honoured Mama Egbewole.
Mama Abigael Kikelomo Ojuolape Egbewole was born 95 years ago, into the family of late David Fadiora of Jiore Compound Ita-akogun Okerewe Quarters.
She got married to late Pa Moses Ajayi Egbewole,a commercial farmer, and the union produced wonderful offsprings, one of which is Honourable Leke Egbewole.
The celebrant’s love of God is uncommon, which makes her a regular preacher of the scriptures even at old age.
