Shina Peller Annual Ramadan Lecture, Iftar Holds in Iseyin

On Thursday, Iseyin was abuzz with excitement as community members gathered for the highly anticipated 2025 Shina Peller Ramadan Lecture/Iftar.

This annual event not only served as a platform for spiritual reflection but also fostered a sense of unity among attendees, celebrating the core values of love and peace that resonate deeply within the Islamic faith.

The highlight of the evening was the soul-stirring lecture delivered by the esteemed Guest Lecturer, Sheik Jamiu Ajadi Sanusi, fondly known as AmiOlohun.

His powerful message centered on the importance of love, unity, and peace in our communities, reminding everyone present of the transformative power of these values, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking to journalists during the event, Hon. Shina Peller elaborated on the significance of the annual event.

He expressed that the lecture and associated Iftar meal are designed not just to purify Muslim faithful but to strengthen their faith. “This event is a reminder of our responsibilities toward each other and our communities. It provides nourishment for both body and spirit,” he remarked.

The event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including the Aseyin of Iseyin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III, Ajirotutu 1, HRM Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka, Elero of Ileroland, Imam Abdulhafeez Owoyemi (Imam Lekki) and other revered Islamic leaders.
