The All Progressives Congress in Oyo Federal Constituency, has greeted a former Governor of Oyo State and Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja who clocks 77years.
The Chairman of Oyo APC Federal Constituency, Chief C.A.A. Ajibade in a statement on behalf of all the newly elected Party Chairmen in Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West described Ladoja as a progressive-minded politician who has done so much for the progress of the State as a private and public citizen.
According to Chief Ajibade, “let me on behalf of the Kabiyesi, His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the great and illustrious sons and daughters of Oyo kingdom across Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West Local Governments heartily felicitate a progressive-minded politician, elder statesman and an astute businessman, His Excellency, High Chief Senator Rashidi Adewolu LADOJA as he clocks 77years today, SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2021.”
Pa Ajibade further commended Ladoja for his selfless service to humanity and the nation at large as well as the many achievements he recorded in both private and public life.
Chief Ajibade said the above are some of the reasons “we cannot but celebrate him on this occasion of his birthday.”
“May Allah endow him with more robust health, sound mind and quality life in the years ahead,” he said.
In the same vein, a former Commissioner for Works and Transport in the State, Dr. Yunus Akintunde congratulated Ladoja on the milestone age of 77years.
Akintunde an APC chieftain and Senatorial Aspirant in Oyo central district ahead of the 2023 election, described Ladoja as an elder statesman who commands respect in the political landscape of the State.
Akintunde, who signed a statement on behalf of Team U”N’US, a political group routing for his aspiration prayed Allah to grant Ladoja more glorious years in the service to humanity.
According to him, “As an elder statesman that command respect in the political landscape of our dear State, I join Senator Ladoja’s millions of admirers from across the length and breadth of this country to wish him a Happy Birthday.
“I pray Allah (SWT) grant him more years in the service of our dear Pacesetter State, Nigeria and humanity as a whole,” Akintunde added.
Also, another chieftain of the APC, Engr. Idris Adeoye said Ladoja has reached a very significant milestone in life.
Idris Adeoye said, ” I am so lucky to celebrate this magnificent age of 77years with a political colossus and a phenomenal man of honour.
“Your Excellency Sir, looking back in time, you also have many reasons to celebrate and be extremely grateful because not too many men are blessed to reach this age in good health and greater strength, Sir.
“Have a fabulous celebration, Sir,” Adeoye added.
