Following his sterling performance which lasted 55 minutes at the Senate screening on Thursday, Oyo state ministerial nominee, Mr. Sunday Dare set the social media buzz, hours after he left the red chamber of National Assembly.

Dare, currently an Executive Commissioner (Stakeholder Management) of the Nigerian Communications Commission, had proved beyond reasonable doubts that he was well prepared for the task, while addressing senators’ questions on how he intended to add value to the country if appointed minister.

Shortly after, people took to social media.
@Kehindeolaosebikan: “His performance was extraordinary, outstanding.  He has started making us, Oyo State proud. He showed intelligence, intellect, brilliance, competence and profound knowledge of Nigeria, telecommunications, technology and communication generally.

@⁨oluyedunhamid⁩: “Even the brief comment from CHANNEL television guy about our nominee make my day. His comment on sims card coverage and trapping of crime is excellent. The guy is wonderful sentiment apart. Congrats in advance.”

@⁨ASK:⁩ “I was astonished that this platform that bears Think Oyo decided not to even discuss the brilliance and excellent performance of its own Ministerial Nominee when the nation was busy discussing, analyzing, praising, eulogizing Oyo State Ministerial Nominee.

“Just about four or five members of the platform really commented on the screening. Thank you for appreciating quality.

“Social media was busy talking about his performance and we should be proud of this because whether we like it or not he presents Oyo State at the Federal Cabinet.

“He must not come from Ibadan before we rejoice. Ogbomoso is Oyo State, Oyo town is Oyo State, Oke-Ogun is Oyo State and anyone from these zones can also enjoy equal rights and attain the highest position of the land. Whom God has blessed, no one can curse.

“All of us who represented you yesterday at the National Assembly received accolades on your behalf and we are proud to have come from Oyo State because of the outstanding performance of Sunday Dare. He was rated the best so far among all the Ministerial Nominees and in fact, he was used as a shining light.

“I hope we would free ourselves from this sentiment, disunity and work together for the betterment of our State.

“Once again, congratulations to Oyo State Ministerial Nominee (confirmed), congratulations to Oyo State and congratulations to Nigeria for this quality material.”
